S.O.R.R.Y
S.O.R.R.Y is a word that I would prefer not to hear! It is one of the most overused words to such an extreme that it no longer serves any purpose or has any true value! Perhaps its more appropriate to see this word as an acronym of - "I - Should of Really Respect(ed) You!" What do you say to people when you have treated them less than favorable, or what they truly deserve? Sorry is actually not about them its about you and how you feel. So what are you really saying? That you expect this person who you have most likely hurt, disrespected, disregarded or treated unfairly to care about how you feel about this? Is that not expecting this person to be giving you more of themselves, rather than offering support to this person that you may have offended. You are asking them to sympathize and offer support or consideration for how sorry you feel about this! There is an issue in this modern culture with a lack of honesty and accountability.
