Jamaican In-depen Dents day Greeting!

Today is another Jamaican Independence holiday on a Sunday this year… still we are not independent in the truth of what it means, we are still very dependent, inter-dependent on international assistance and codependent in many ways…

We all are in some way codependent on someone or something and that is in fact a part of life to some extent that is part of who we are and how we continue to survive and even exist.  And if we are to thrive we have to fully utilize all resources available to us and in that way relying on someone or something is a part of life! For we cannot build our civilization alone neither did we create this world, our history or our culture alone…

Still it's important to be as Independent as we can, also to remember as our own National hero RH Marcus Garvey famously said "Self-reliance is the highest Science!" It's important to remember that and those who are no longer with us who left us with their wisdom. Always rely on your own intelligence to make decisions about how to think, of and about yourself and what is in your best interests. The only higher intelligence than your own is the intelligence of the higher man/woman, within the Creator which would be to rely on the intelligence of the Creator; who created you and all of your thoughts. His consciousness gave you your own conscience and your thoughts. There can be no greater intelligence than that of the source of all thoughts and all things.
